DevOps and Site Reliability Engineer (Remote, Onshore)

Preferable Location: Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, New York   |   Full Time

One of our clients is looking to expand their in-house team with a DevOps and Site Reliability Engineer that is well-versed in implementing automation and orchestration for manual processes required to operate and deploy cloud services. They have developed a global payments platform that enables mobile phone users to pay their service provider bills by playing games, watching videos, and completing special offers on their devices. It’s a fun and rewarding alternative for making payments. The payments alternative combines mobile monetization and gamification.

Based in South Florida, the company has operations across the United States, United Kingdom, Mexico, and Singapore. The position is available in Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, and New York City, and will be mostly remote with one on-site day a week at least for the next 6 months.

We are looking for:

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in support or development of globally distributed cloud SaaS services.
  • Someone who is fluent with at least one current-generation scripting language used by DevOps professionals (Python, Ruby).
  • Strong experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts, including Infrastructure as code utilizing tools like Terraform, Cloudformation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet or an equivalent.
  • Experience with Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, and PaaS services on AWS.
  • Experience with elastically scalable, fault tolerance and other cloud architecture patterns.
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services including microservices.
  • Deep understanding of the software delivery process with the ability to implement and enforce that process across the organization.
  • Extensive experience with AWS public cloud technologies is a must.
  • Experience in an Agile environment is a plus.
